This is what prompted my inital question, as I was under the (very mistaken impression) that a streamer has just one very basic standardised function.

This puts things into perspective wrt to pricing of devices, to me, at least.

I recently bought a tasting set from whisky brother, and it included a Kilkerran 12 year old. It was so so delicious, but now WB is out of stock. I am now having massive regret 😥

Its not a replacement. It will be for another set up. The 851N pushes all the buttons as a streamer and dac. Just wanted to try a different approach.
