Doubt very much. Someone will have to put time into it. No less than two days work and rhen materials. From experience you much better off buying the original as it will be much cheaper

Ampdog I doubt very much that you will receive an answer from anyone on the forum. the people that have tried it does report a difference but are unable to explain the phenomena. strangely enough. my experience also indicate by adding these power filters to digital equipment actually enhances...

Just for clarification. The unit below the VA isn't the vanguard but a audio analogue integrated amp - AAcento of which Stefan is the distributor.

The Ceracote finish on the VA is impeccable

The particular unit is the stock unit (800va) before i created the higher power unit with the 1,2kva power supplies (only two exist atm, one in South Africa and the other in Australia) but with the mods requested by @xumbug The higher power unit did appear to be more airy and more revealing...

Some quick improvements Add a power filter. Terrible on most audio equipment works great with dacs. Add more capacitance. Again same as above. Twist your power cables Add 100nf wima bypass caps on the caps close to opamps. Possible improvement. Subjective

Anyway. Seems that people are trying to figure this out why this makes a difference but still argue digital is ones and zeros therefore no difference can be had. Digital is transmitted in the analogue domain which picks up noise that transmits it to the next stage. IT IS NOT IN THE DIGITAL it...

See that is where you are wong. It starts before the DAC from the source. The DAC just receives the last of the junk. The DAC  is just the last link in the chain that is trying to makes sensel of all the noise and jitter

I could never get any streaming to be as good as a exceptional cdp and dac. Closest i came was a reclocker hat on a pi with I2S into the dac. But still not as good. So I 100% believe there are more gains to be had with noise removed and less jitter. Think about it, It isn't just ones and zeros...
