I wouldn't build it up with glue and filler. That's going to be messy. Either rout it all down to the lower level and then use door seal to bring level up (I'm assuming this is a removable front baffle). Alternatively glue in a whole straight strip of wood of appropriate thickness. Or start...

I don't think lowballing could be called offensive because it's not. It's cheeky and opportunistic and time wasting. And mostly these sorts of people are quite rude in their communication style which doesn't help endear themselves.

Spot on. Anyone with two braincells should be able to wire a given crossover design point to point and make a box that doesnt leak or can measure a port length correctly. This is like something a grade 10 student with some co-ord can pull off. But if it looks crappy it will sap your enjoyment...
