If it sounded amazing at 88dB I wouldn't dismiss it. Amazing doesn't come along that frequently you can just ignore it. But what amp was driving this amazing set of speakers? Ensure you hear exactly the combo you're going to buy. Some shops will sell you a R10k set of speakers which sound great...

Decor is fine. Maybe not everyone's taste but at least it's not filled with that kitchy faux art : print of a sillouette of a jazz saxophonist, wire "art" with beads bought from the median of some SA Road etc. I feel a little vomit in my mouth when I see that "decor".
