Anyone here done an a/b test between Apple Lossless and Tidal MQA?

I've been using my Denon as a streamer to my VA Predator and the quality isn't bad at all, as long as it's good enough for you... A dedicated streamer and decent dac will be a big step up in SQ once you have the funds :)

+Lenovo Have has them as work laptops with 2 companies and they're bombproof

Thanks for clarifying. I've not tested better DACs so to my ears it sounds decent playing MQA.

Not that expensive, believe it or not. The fact that it's plug and play and it has a great interface makes it decent value. The DAC isn't bad at all, when run through a decent system. Zen Stream with a Zen Dac V2 will probably cost about the same as the new Node 3.

Please do! Will have to be using the same DAC for a fair A/B test, but would be keen to hear your thoughts. Please share on this thread :)

+1 for Ubiquiti I have the Unifi and the range is impressive, hasn't given me any issues.

Have you ever done an a/b test using wifi vs lan for streaming? Are there benefits to using lan to streamer? My problem is my router is 7m from my streamer so running a lan cable is a bit of an eyesore :)

After listening to this review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PP1Zsh078nU&t=1044s I think I'm going with a Zen Stream and probably one of their DACs. Also gives me the option to go balanced to my amp which should be a nice little bump in quality.
