Complete agree. Just because some regulations were dumb it doesn't mean you should ignore the meaningful ones. Everybody i know that work in hospitals take it very seriously - while people that haven't been directly affected mostly take it too lightly.

The sub doesnt shut down - output is just very low until i move the lpf switch. But cant hurt to replace  the fuse...

No its not auto standby - they are permanently on. Use two of them in a dual sub setup. Auto standby is irritating to me so i dont use it.

I wonder if someone knows how to fix this strange issue. My one B&W asw610 stops playing once in a while. If you move the switch that turns the low pass filter on or off it starts working again. Any ideas?

Hi Kgomotso - I had dual pv1s and they were extremely dissapointing to me. Maybe the pv1ds are better- but I doubt it. I would rate the pv1 as my most dissapointing audio purchase.

I had a set of Tannoy MX2s long ago. I bought them new for a very small amount of money. My memory might be clouded by nostalgia, but I loved the warm rich sound from them. If they didnt get stolen I would probably have still listened to them, I am in fact tempted to try some of the newer...

Oh and for the OP - from my experience then the actual center speaker you use makes a world of difference.

Nice to hear that my opinion is shared by someone else too. I have a CMC1 on my system - its for sure better than my monitor audio bronze center but I do think the Bentley FC150 is considerably clearer than the B&W CMC and also good to know that upgrading to a CMC2 wont be worth it either....

I had a set of Bentleys and now have a B&Ws. I prefer the overall sound of the B&Ws but.... the clarity of voices was for sure better with the center on the Bentleys - I think the FC150 is a gem of a center speaker and punches well above its weight. My father in law that is nearly 80 commented...

I have a 5ch MM7055 power amp that I use to power my front speakers. I only use two channels from it - I dont intend to bi-amp the fronts from the MM7055 since as far as I understand it has only one power supply so it would probably not have any real benefit. An option I have been thinking...
