Well it gets to the heart of the problem. If you start making ridiculous rules people start ignoring all the rules. The sensible ones too....

I had a whole rant how I dont use audyssey it only makes things worse. It made my previous setup in my difficult room sound a lot worse than without it. I kind of stand corrected now. With the mid range B&Ws Im running now it works very well. Sounds great with audyssey off but also with it on...

It is ridiculous yes. Im not particularly religious so the allowing people to go to church thing while banning beaches boggles my mind.

Returning is not really always consolation. If you sold some of your stuff to get the new items you can sit without crucial parts of your system if you return them and it could take months to teplace them.

I tend to leave goos feedback when Im happy and no feedback when im not. Thats probably not the right way.

Oh and you cant say its mostly traders or not - ive bought items that exceed my expectations from borh traders and others. And I have bought items i were dissapointed in from both too.

There are definitely guys taking a chance and ripping people off. But I do think most times conditions dont match your expectations its because the seller and you have different standards/expectations and no malice is intended....

Oh and dont ask me even in a pm who the seller is i am dissapointed in - dont want to cause any problems for him. The seller that exceeded my expectations is Vince MacMahon. I understand why he constantly gets great feedback.

Really???!!! I see people advertising it as a positive on second hand cables. So you need to play a certain amount of hours on cables for them to sound better? Honestly what is the possible science behind that.

BS for sure..... Outperforming in what sense? General statements like that without measured results showing a marked effect in the audible range makes me very sceptic. Does lowering resistance etc help? Depends where and from what your lowering it. If your lowering it from an already low value...

Looks nice Vince and R300 is a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of the other equipment... I never turn on audyssey multeq however because it creates audible artifacts for me - especially with music.
