You must use WBT ferrules on the wire and the WBT plug tightens onto the ferrule. That is how WBT recommends the connection.

A friend of mine put a AT 95ML on his Thorens 125 and is extremely happy. The benefit of the MM carts is that you can replace/upgrade the stylus you could even put the SH Shibata stylus or the SLC special nude line contact stylus in the case of the 540 or 760 MM carts on.

I put a AT VM540ML on my Yamaha PX2, also from Mike, and I was pleasantly surprised. I have a Ortofon Rondo Blue MC on my Yamaha P800 and the AT MM cart with the micro line stylus just sounds better. I can only imagine how good the OC9MXL will sound but would it be worth spending 15k on a cart...
