Heard on the news that the load shedding is affecting the water and sewage pumps and that if the load shedding continues it will definitely start affecting water supply in jhb

We had 4,5 hours this morning (5B) and it?s just gone off again, they say till 12 tonight. Friend of mine in Randhart ALBERTON says they have not had any load shedding at all. How does this work.  Maybe a Counciller ilivingn the area...?

Going solar and off the grid has gone from being merely attractive to being the only thing any reasonable person should be doing.Even if one has to finance it the saving in electricity cost and value added to your home more than justifies it, and that is before one considers the peace of mind it...

Stage 6 supposedly 4.5 hours. I have been having that the whole weekend and today.

I just received my belt from Thakker in germany. Waited well over a month due to our "inconsistent" postal system. If I knew there was others out there looking for these belts I would have ordered more. If you are going to get one, get some extras, I will take another as a spare.

Suppose it depends on how badly you want it. In pure monetary terms it could not be worth anything over 1,5K imo.

To put it into perspective I paid R3500 for a CA610 amp,Ct610 tuner and the matching tape deck together with a set of matching speakers, all mint, in feb this year.
