I suspect the question is: "If you could add two speakers (in an Atmos endowed system), would you add them on top or at the back?" I'd assume there is sufficient space. I'm also interested to hear member's opinion on making that choice.

HT passthrough is the only way to go - works like a charm. You will be very satisfied. I run Ayre Acoustics with cheap Yamaha AVR, all in the same space, all doing what they do best.

I got one of these - works like a charm - hidden on the back wall behind the Hi-Fi - don't even know it is there. Feeds Lumin D2 - no complaints. Now I just need a R5,000 Ethernet cable....  :winkwink...

I'd be surprised if this is not your fix/issue. In my case it was a silly button on the magic remote - in a drawer, not used. No indication on-screen that it was selected. Their Tru-Motion seems to get better with newer generations. Good luck Charl

Perhaps you flipped the 3D setting to ON? I accidentally did this with my LG and you get what looks like a blurr that seems a little worse on the outer edges. 3D OFF and everything should snap back into focus.
