Add on - The burson makes the Letshouer s12 sound pretty great, its more LUSH in the mids which I would boost by about 2db otherwise, this does seem to fix that issue. I also have a 2 db low boost which I dont need anymore. Sounds a bit too much now.

I only have my stock but Thicc cable from the letshouer s12 to compare, haven't noticed it. I don't think know if 32 year old drummer ears can hear that XD

Both are great, so get the one for the phone you feel you will most use them. You lose features when it doesn't match its own brand. Think about the everyday use, which phone do you most reach for and use. Things that make it convenient like auto pairing, changing modes of noise cancellation...

I would give it a month as it takes a while for ears to adjust to the feeling, also consider different tips, foam vs silicone feel very different as well.

I find it tough to really justify $1000 and above - at that point I would prefer to upgrade my source as well and find a middle ground compromise. Personally I own more expensive Over Ears as well but I feel like I'm getting more for my money.

Currently using the s12 but keen to try the XENN Mangird Top - $530 - from what I've seen its seems to be a good contender up until $700 I start getting nervous to spend more on an IEM because they keep getting better for the price range, in 3 years $500 could get me what $1500 gives you. Tough
