I like a lot of instrumental music, but if there are lyrics I prefer they have some meaning.  Having said that nobody's ever accused rock music of being filled with lyrical geniuses, so I get that the music alone can carry the listener despite the lyrics, as long as the music itself has appeal...

You should give Linux a try, say Mint or some desktop oriented distro. Install Libre Office and Chromium and you?re sorted.  There?s a good Linux equivalent for most Windows based apps to the extent that I find Windows for troublesome to use than my Arch Linux LXDE based desktop.
