That Pioneer looks great. I looked at the Western Digital products as well.  Would I be able to plug in my external hard drive to these units and control it via my tablet though? But play it through my stereo? I am somewhat confused by all these???

Buy a PSB Subseries 8".  It won't disappoint you.  And if you don't like it, I will buy it from you.

I had a similar dilemma.  I can honestly say that my B&W 601's matched with a PSB Subseries 8" sub was spectacular. My room is 4.5mX5.5m.  And when I bought the sub, I honestly thought I needed atleast a 10" given the size of the room. The chap assured me that for what I wanted, this little 8"...
