    So.... what is Science?

I think we just playing with words here. I am going to add to the confusion. I have a belief that we as mankind, use science as our boundaries or our parameters. Its like Adrian Newey in F1 cars.  The boundaries/parameters are set out, they then design a product within those boundaries, some...

    Tyre advice

David, I have a mate with contacts in Durb's.  Maybe they might have a better price for you. Michelin is the only tyre I use.  The run around car has the Energy, around town its ok, bigger cars have the Michelin Pilot Sport.

    Cambridge Audio NP30 Sonata???

Thats a helpful video about the Sonos.  Looks a good product. Just a question though, if I have all the music on a portable hard drive, would I have to plug that into the router and then use one of these products to pick the music up and re-direct it to the pre-amp?  What about the different...

    Cambridge Audio NP30 Sonata???

That Pioneer looks great. I looked at the Western Digital products as well.  Would I be able to plug in my external hard drive to these units and control it via my tablet though? But play it through my stereo? I am somewhat confused by all these???

    sub in stereo

I had a similar dilemma.  I can honestly say that my B&W 601's matched with a PSB Subseries 8" sub was spectacular. My room is 4.5mX5.5m.  And when I bought the sub, I honestly thought I needed atleast a 10" given the size of the room. The chap assured me that for what I wanted, this little 8"...

I have the Klipsch RF82. Bought from Audio excellence.  I demo'ed the PSB's and Paradigm Monitors.  I think it depends what type of music you also listen to most. I had the Klipsch for about two months now and last night I played some nice soft jazz for the first time.  Not sure what it is...

    Velodyne Subs

Only ever heard good things about Velodyne. I know this has been said numerous times, but recently I moved my little 8" sub(PSB).  My room is slightly bigger than your mates, and shew...  It sounds massive.  Just by changing where it was positioned and adjusting some minor settings, the bass...

Help with deciding which floor standers

I agree  On a more serious note, I heard the Paradigm's and I honestly was going to buy them. The only reason I went for the Klipsch was that the room I heard the Paradigms in was really small.  So I was unsure just how they would cope in a bigger room, and thats what I had. The...
