I have compared them to the B&W 685's, I can't say if there is really any difference. How much better would the pm1's be than the 685's?

Thats a really specific sort of improvement :ROFLMAO: I like the look of them and thats something I would prefer to get.  I like the smaller package so to speak. These compared to PSB's image T6???  I know the PSB's are cheaper

Realistically though, how much better will they be than what I currently have?

The speakers I have are the 601 S1's. I can't rebuild the entire area just so that the sound will be optimised...
