Some feedback. Problem has been solved. We moved the Inverter feed to another phase of the grid - fortunately, I have 3 phase power. That solved the problem, Smeg hob now works perfectly. Thanks for all the help.

An update: Just discovered, HOB misbehaves, ONLY when the Inverter battery is charging after being drained due to loadshedding. Once the battery is fully charged, HOB once again works perfectly! HOB is not connected to Inverter and is still on Eskom power only. Yet no other electronics in the...
