Im beyond even supporting HDMI as a standard on receivers. Now I just run my HDMI video straight to TV, and all audio via optical. I would like to know a failure rate of HDMI boards across all receivers, I think that replacement figure alone has kept the industry afloat!

I'm finishing a 2.5m x 2.5m HT room, so small one also. I have tried my bigger speakers in there, which completely muddled everything, as the sound overpowered the room. Smaller satellite speakers and a small sub fits the room perfectly. My couch and curtains being the only absorbers of sound...
