Yes it should transmit bit perfect audio. It's common practice to get around the Android issues nowadays. LDAC Bluetooth and Airplay 2 still have their restrictions though.

@gavinbirss, I hope that I2S can be implemented too. Perhaps they can do it with software in the future. I know many people have asked. The ROHM chips are interesting. Cayin uses it in it's flagship DAP, which is rated as one of the best.
