    Masters!!!

It's no wonder you putters are 'no comprendo', woman's golf has been a far more spectacular sight in recent weeks. What channels you forum members dedicate yourselves too has become unrealistically boring & without imagination or Hope.

So will you be considering a Crosley?

Steerpike's video is convincing enough for me.

    Listening Seat Against Rear Wall

It's a gorgeously pictured chair Rodney. I don't bother to move my wheeled office chair at home to the listening lounge, in a small area, lots of space behind ears, just leaning back in the couch by 500mm away from the glass on the coffee table is idealistic, I heard you my friend, got to be in...

Any advice how to insure older equipment?

What works for me is self employment, from home. Out of the rat race & traffic before 9:30. 2 wonderful young tenants residing in the house, me keeping an eye on the proceedings in the d/s maisonette, rear of property. A dog also, signage indicating 'Beware silent attacking dogs'. Beams, spikes...

    Which fireplace/stove?

It's currently a hot topic Jonny, the entire UK got a Frot KLOPPERS from the Windies yesterday, their fires are extinguished.

    Which fireplace/stove?

2nd that pictured by Chrisc, that's a formidably great size, buddy has a much smaller 'enclosed' version which seemingly caters for a larger space than depicted here. They are the biz. An open fireplace visited often in Hermanus has an open version, very old fashion in doors, loads of wood...

    Speaker Hum/Vibration

What Atjan says for starters. In my case reboxed my old Marantz HD66's (sadly not a good effort) just one loose screw was the problem. You could recover that 'repaired' section of the cone, in the 70's/80's a bit of silicone worked for me, that assuming you wouldn't want to spend much on these.

Any advice how to insure older equipment?

Starting to Ponder a New TV

My Phillips telly 10 years old, still looking good. That said, been waiting for Superior HD's arrival before another purchase. Those will probably cost a mint on appearing in the market, whatever! Will bide my time until then.
