so, should my front speakers be placed on either side of my tv or is it fine if they are in the front corners of my lounge which is out of the seating area?

so last night i took one of my Sony tv's and placed it next to the samsung...both are full HD...the Sony is LCD and the Samsung is 3d LED...the Samsung picture rocks...it looks so lifelike...and i think that's what i was finding weired... I now find myself wanting to watch tv in my bedroom as...

It happens when watching DSTV.  the picture is crystal clear with no blurring... the images just look very different from my Sony LCD's.  Maybe it's because it's more clear, or maybe the tv is adding more depth to the picture... I was told that 3d tv's change the picture so it looks...

I got my replacement one and no shadows on it...looks like the first one was a faulty unit 1 question...why do movies and programmes look so weired? almost like a cheap production...

Hi Guys I just bought this tv...problem is that it has a strange circle shape image in the background of the screen...it's most noticable when darker scenes are showing on the tv...not visible if the screen is totally black.. Any clue what it could be? Thanks

No sound on the sound check...which is why i'm thinking that the amp is faulty I'm taking it back to Cats today

So, i've finally moved into my new house... Set up my tv, run all my speaker wires, connect my amp...put it on and adjust a few settings...sounds good...hd passthrough works fine... Next day, no sound at all...speakers are working (tested with my other amp) Could it be a setting on my amp...or...

Hi guys My friend has the Sony str-k1500 ht system. I ran hdmi cables from the ps3 and hd pvr to the amp and then one hdmi cable from the amp to the tv. The tv then gets picture and sound, but no sound from the ht speakers... Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted?

So i've settled on the tsi400 package in black ash.  Sub will have to wait as i want to get a fairly well specced one... I will only be moving to the new house in Jan...will let you guys know how it sounds then Will probably buy the sub by then as well Thanks for all the advice guys 8)

No, it's not the ones that comes with the 6.2 system...they are proper ones with the wooden boxes...actually looks nice But i might just go the polk route :)
