I have a few big pieces of reclaimed wood I need to strip paint off
Tried paint stripper on something else and what a waste of time , maybe I used the wrong stuff
Using planer the easiest?
Never used electronic hand planer , worth the money or stick to manual planer

Painting is easy , Prep work is the difficult part
The diy option
Get water based paint , easier to work with
try and get best paint you can afford that you can wash off stains , worth the extra bucks in the long run and you will not have that hectic paint smell and you can move in sooner...
I see there are few options:
- Solar powered DC pumps
High Cost but savings overtime should break even
No electricity cost
Some cheaper pumps are limited to 40mm pipe diameter
Stronger pumps are expensive
- Variable Speed Pumps (Magnetic Drive pump)
High Cost but savings overtime should break...
NB: those I listed is terminated with kettle plugs , you will need ups adapter if you want to use it with 3 point or euro plugs

I will recommend Roku or Nvidia Shield
Check both out on www.geewiz.co.za or amazon
Roku: has its own Operating System, very good UI, wife and kid-friendly
NB: Roku has 2 types of remote, Infra-red or wifi, think express has infra-red, once you tried wifi remote, you will not go back to...
Watch out, fibre cannot bend 90 degrees or gas copper lines, do not let them bend the conduit 90 degrees, either 45 degrees for fibre and gas lines
Email the fibre installer for specs, think vumatel wants 40mm conduct in foundation/walls, I think gas is 20mm but get that specs from the gas guys
Plan for inverter , separate conduit for heaters/aircon
Add network/fiber in garage or somewhere and add access points in house , lan points to gaming area and tv?s
Do not let the electrician install conduct for networks or speakers if they do not have experience , otherwise they will loop...
I know the discussion is about Solar Geyser but do not forget about Solar Pv Powered geyser which uses both DC (solar pv) and AC to heat the geyser
One benefit is there is no moving parts and uses any normal geyser connected to solar pv panels...
