if you doing the cambelt maybe also do your waterpump and tension , you have to strip there anyway and while you there replace those parts (atleast the tensioner) if the cambelt tensioner fail, the belt can jump teeth and you also loose valves , so just as important as cambelt , waterpump you...

Volume I mean SPL/loudness, if the scenario is the same driver size in both 2way and 2,5 way , same enclosure volume for both drivers ,same brand drivers (I think you just answered this ) No , real world scenario , just wanted to understand the differences but it seems it cannot be simplified...

So what you guys are saying a 2way and 2.5 way should be equal except for volume levels, bass level should be the same , same low signal going to both woofers , bass cannot be better , same signal,unless the enclosure volume differs Volume Level = 2.5way > 2way Bass = 2.5way = 2way
