    I'm in love....

As a Sonus Faber fan, I just saw they launched an Electa Amator 3 as what seems like an anniversary model. They surely are beautiful speakers, wonder what the damage will be to one's bank account. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

    Subwoofer losing audio.

I know, but this rotary knob can be adjusted inbetween by the looks of it? All the subs I've seen is either 0 or 180, not 101 other settings inbetween? Although it doesn't look like there's more marked settings, but it can be set inbetween as per pic.

Shouldn't the phase be on either 0 deg or 180 deg?

MA Bronze 2 for home theatre?

Get this Arcam AVR in the link below (price down for a crazy deal you can't miss :nutter: ) - it's a great buy. Arcam pairs nicely with MA. You can look at the Monitor Audio MR1's for the surrounds. Get at least a Bronze centre to match the fronts. Sub should be the bronze or even better, get...

    Activate sub on Pure/Direct Audio

In pure direct my Yamaha only plays in two channel as mentioned, but there is a setting called "Straight" which is front left and right and the sub. Maybe the Onkyo has something simular? Only downside is it's not direct anymore.

    'El Cheapo' 5.1 amp/receiver recommendations?

Browse through the classifieds and see if there's something you can use, unless you want to buy new, then you need to get prices and info from dealers. Yamaha is good for the price and the baby RXV383 which is 5.1 goes for around R6000 new.

Need your input on Chario Constellation speakers please

The room is quite big and seating distance is about 3 - 3.5m. I do love their looks though  :Ooooooh:

I tend to go loud sometimes and the Golds can handle that quite good. Thanks, so that's one negative then.

Need your input on Chario Constellation speakers please

I have another setup with floorstanders I can play rock and 80's stuff on, so not really an issue. I also listen a lot to jazz, acoustic guitar and female vocal. How would Chris Rea, Chris Isaak, Steve Strauss, Blackmore's Night etc sound on them? Will they cope with that?

Need your input on Chario Constellation speakers please

Let's get the thread back on topic Like mentioned, I'm interested in the Charios but cannot listen to them, hence the input required regarding their sound signature and amp preference. I have to choose between these two Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Especially classic rock and oldies too. Love acoustic music as well and 80's also. Damn there's too many genres I like.
