Haven't see those type of shades available for a long time. They were used with incandescent light bulbs. There are so many LED mains operated lamps, all types of shapes and wattage now available, some self contained not requiring a separate shade.

Found these in a hole which I think was buried by the soil but recently exposed after heavy rain. Are these frog eggs? Can't think of any other critters could be laying eggs this time of year.
