So I'm assuming you play movies, TV etc. through just the 2 speakers?  Is there a huge difference between this and your old 5.1 setup in terms of sound?

These are the worst.  Grates me too when someone negotiates while giving the impression that they are interested, only to turn away and say "I'll get back to you" after they squeeze for a ridiculous price.  Just as bad are those who negotiate to a bargain and then tell you they bought...

My personal favourite is 'that is all my wife will allow me to spend'.  Really amazing how many guys hide behind their wives when low-balling. And the absolute pits: when they pull out of a sale at the last moment because "their wife" is giving them uphill.  Who wears the dress in that house...

I'm helping someone get his Quad ESL 2905 repaired.  One panel on one speaker makes a popping sound.  Does anyone know where to have it repaired properly - here in Gauteng?  Plus more or less what the repair cost will be, assuming it is only one panel?

I have a Yamaha RXA3030 and I want to connect it to my Parasound HCA-806 power amp.  Problem is the Parasound has no 12v trigger switch.  Is there anyone that can build a 12v trigger device to power the Parasound when the Yamaha starts up? What would this cost?
