I started this 2-way today. I am planning a transmission line tuned at 44Hz. The bigger driver is a Mission unit I got from Brian and the tweeter is a Dayton DC28F?-8 1? 1/8" Silk Dome. I plan to cross at 1800Hz. The box will be covered with American Walnut veneer whan I'm happy with the sound...

I had a successful claim on a sub I built. I had a flood and the sub was in water. Assessor looked at the unit, asked some questions and I was told that I should give a value of its cost to make the claim. I was paid out the amount I claimed. I also have BRILLIANT insurance  :mates:

Don't buy from RS, they are expensive. Rather get from: www.digikey.com, www.farnell.com, Communica, Mantech. They are all cheaper and will you will get exactly what you want.

I recently were given a box of LP's by mom. A bunch of old mixed with some newer releases. It ranges from early 60's to late 80's. Going through them now and its quite nostalgic and some great songs which I havent hear since I was a boy. I have found that some of these have some scratches on...

That driver looks great. Design what you want the box to look like and then have it cut by someone with a cnc router. That way, you bypass the woodworking skills part  :thumbs: Would love to see the final product  :2thumbs:
