I think solar cable will make excellent speaker cable, 4mm^2 or 6mm^2 is nice and thick. Generally solar cable has very robust sheathing and also doesn't cost a fortune.

The other possibility is that all your loads have been connected to the UPS side, so there's no power being drawn from the non-essential side.
