My D2 arrived at our offices yesterday. Messing around with a set of Logitech Z6 something speakers, sound is definitely warmer using some crappy house mp3's. Now to test on my Cambridge/Monitor Audio setup with FLAC ;)

I ordered my TubeMagic D2 with the optional upgrade of 3 matched opamp OPA627 last week. Looking around the web all I can really tell is that these are Texas Instruments chipsets. What do they actually do and was it worth the extra 40USD to change over to these?
