    sansui 210s

Hi. I saw a Sansui  210s receiver at a swop shop this weekend. It looked in great condition.  With it was some vintage JVC speakers. Asking price R380. They are unable to switch it 9n for me. Can i consider it, or should i walk away? I will be able to do some repairs on it, if required. Is the...

I was looking at the new 55 inch samung ES8000. One thing that caught my eye is that it states it has a 800Hz refresh rate! For a LCD/LED I not heard this one. I am familiar with plasmas with 600Hz The best price I could find was from Cats Digital for R35k. Its other specs are crazy! Voice...

Latest What Hifi Magazine: Blu-Ray Player reviews

Maybe its the upgrade bug showing his ugly head... Plus I always wondered about the the "good" systems like these BDPs. Are really that far superior in quality? Over the normal BDP like LG, Samsung, Sony and so on?? I want to test that theory 1st hand... If it does not work out, the an AV forum...

    LCD on the way out

Samsung is an interesting company. Many of the products are brilliant. Their designs are good as well. But where they catch you out, it that they use weaker componets in their products. The design is sound , but the components cant handle it. The components are so well chosen that they giveout...
