I went for a 65" TV instead. A projector does not offer all the underrated applications that WebOS3.5 has to offer. I sit 4m away from the TV.

Sorry, i'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this. EAC audio format plays fine through the TV, however, it does not play when I switch the TV's sound setting to my Receiver. I am streaming from plex and there are some episodes that does not have EAC, and that plays perfectly through my receiver...

Hi, whenever I watch whatever I want to, my receiver receives the audio stream via arc. But as soon as the video format is Dolby Digital Plus EAC Audio, I get no sound at all. If I switch to my TV speakers then it works. I have a Yamaha RX-V475. Anyone experiencing this as well?

So I received the velodyne impact 12bve today. Set the sub volume and crossover to max. The 8" PSB sub zero alpha is still a lot more punchier. The sub is in the same spot as where the PSB was, under the stair case, in the corner. Sent from my MI 6 using Tapatalk

Any of you have a Velodyne Impact 12? I might get one for R3000. Is this a good price, and secondly, what is your take on the sub?

Well, nowadays, I use a tape measure and measure the distance from the speaker to my ear. I then tweak and play around until I can hear all the speakers at the same level, or more distinctly. The YPAO automatic EQ is rubbish in my opinion.

I live in Wellington/Paarl. Hard to find any audio shops around here.

@naughty , what did you upgrade to? One of the connectors at the pack where I pop a banana plug into broke.

I wanted to know more about it since there is no info on it. It really is a beautiful set but there is no information on these speakers anywhere. :)

So I bought a pair of Acoustic Research bookshelf speakers to replace my Mission Mv8e bookshelf speakers. I can't seem to find much info of this on the internet but it does sound a lot better than my Mission speakers. Anyone know anything about these? Acoustic Research AR-XPSMCH Not sure how...
