I am in the same boat going to buy the Polk speakers with out the sub for R7890 and looking at buying either the  denon 2113 for R9440 or the onkyo NR 616 for R8999. i am swaying towards the denon but not sure need to go demo it and see.

i had a look at Yamaha the ones i can find online is the RX-V473 is R6,599.00 and the Yamaha Receiver RX-V371 R4 990.00 there alot of specials but i don't need the blu ray player, speakers n stuff just need the receiver. between the pioneer and denon which with u guys go for?
