(One of) the most useless pieces of kit he has ever bought (says the purchaser)
Is this a choke coil? We used to have them to protect computers in Cape Town in the old days (aka '90s) when we were at the tail end of the Eskom grid. They smoothed out power and hummed as they got older.- ted

Best free player for FLAC files
I've been using Foobar2000 for at least 10 years now. The overriding strength and weakness at the same time is its flexibility. The barebones version is ugly. My solution has been to find a Theme (a skin) that works for me, in my case DarkOne by Tedgo on www.deviantart.com. Wonderfully...- ted
