Thanks for the advice. Will I not even be able to hook it up to watch the stuff that I have recorded to the hard drive already? I am clueless with these things, but can it not be used as a hard disk recorder straight from SABC/e.tv (assuming there was ever anything on SABC I wanted to record)...

I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me. I'm about to move back to SA from the UK. I'm bringing across (or had planned to bring) my Samsung LCD TV and Humax PVR. Here in the UK I can use the PVR to watch catch up TV via the internet, as well as just record to the hard disk for normal TV...
