quick question...has anyone had issues with running dstv to projector....it worked like a charm initially which makes me think there might have been a firmware update by dstv.. now i am unable to watch any of the big games...already tried buying another hdmi cable but that did not solve issue...

hi, that is how it was setup. Initially in past it worked perfectly...but not too sure if anyone has experienced this either....cannot find anything on the internet locally either

apologies if this is in the incorrect place... i am experiencing a hiccup with watching dstv on my projector....it has worked like a charm previously but not sure what the issue is. in a nutshell i have a projector setup and screen setup  for gaming and watching movies....it is all hookedup...

hi, sorry for delayed reply. haven't been on forum in a while. clearance isnt much, i would say roughly 250mm from wall to screen.

thanks man...i have an issue with watching dstv though....the decoder is all the way in the bedroom so have to run another cable to projector....problem is its a flat roof so access is a bit of an issue...already bought another 20m hdmi cable.... i either have to drill a few holes through a few...

dont worry, she was already moaning.lol... bought some trunking so just want to neaten evebrything up a bit...but think i need to wait till i get teh speakers and amps.. my budget is about 5k max for sound...any reccomendations ? sound bar vs surround sound... i also dont have any space at...

Hi Guys I have a canon projector setup at home with 16:9 screen etc. the picture is pretty good but sound is severley lacking... at the moment i am running sound via cheapie logitech 2.1 speakers that i used to play some music off the pc. The sound bar with sub seems the most practical...

thanks nikkel! managed to do a hard reset on ps3 and now all hdmi point working without any flickering or loss of signal

update. managed to change video output of blu ray player to ycbr 4.2.2 and that solved issue....also disabled the colur depth option... now it plays and picks up without a hitch... just have to get the ps3 sorted....will do a hard factory reset

yep am using an hdmi switch....been doing alot of research and may have found solution...will try when i get home and update post if resolved

okay made some headway...its doing something funny...the xbox picks up first time, the blu ray player only picks when a blue ray is played...when its in idle mode to select other media off a driver for exampleit drops...the ps3 wont pick up either at all...(both ps3 and blu ray players is...

Although a cheapie one when it picked up the player it played without any flickering,  still a dud though. I'm taking it back to exchange for another one... Doesn't work so lekker. But at least I know when it showed video it was perfect
