Hi, i do have side surrounds and not rear surrounds. They are mounted on either side of the couch on the walls. (Apologies, i worded my description incorrectly for the speaker placement)

Hi, unfortunately experimentation is not an option, as it's a flat skimmed ceiling and to cut holes and not use them, is asking for trouble from the missus!!

Got a pair of SB12 NSD for my H/T. Fliipin awsome  :clap. They replaced a pair of M/A Bronze W10. The SVS is much more tighter and precise. They also work for me for music as well.... :groovy:
