You can use Fluid Film, it's the tin on the left. I use this on my rifle barrels to protect against rust. Use fine steel wool, (0000) and a bit of WD40 to remove the rust, be easy handed and work lightly, wipe and apply a new thin coat of Fluid Film for protection.

Received mine last week, really good value for money and super easy to use.

I looked at the specs and saw a few video reviews, including Darko. If you are using a dedicated DAC is there a marked difference between the Pro and Pro Plus?

As Tzs503gp stated, the speaker variables play a deciding part in looking at amp vs speaker performance. Onkyo used to publish power ratings based on a 6 ohm speaker load, hence a slightly higher rating than you can expect from an 8 ohm speaker load. Speakers don't "draw" power from an amp but...

It points to a bandwidth issue. To use 8K your HDMI cables need to go beyond 24Gps, as Ken said, you'll need to have 48Gps certified cables from source to AVR and AVR to TV.

It's the Electrostatic Discharge, it affects all chipsets, HDMI, DAC's, you name it. Cable wise it's likely the EMP inducing DC voltage as well to networks and bus comms. Lightning wears many different hats..
