I picked it up from the Post Office today. Now to find a nice, but budget-appropriate set of speakers for it. I am assuming that it will have a modest output. Any ideas on second-hand speakers for a medium size room (with a low ceiling)? I normally listen at fairly modest volume levels.
I (am forced to) listen to my music at a moderate level (rock and some vocal or acoustic).
Are there amps and speakers that (typically) speakers that does better at this? Or is it the combination that counts?
Are there any tube amps that stands out?
Can and should one replace the capacitors on old speakers? And/or can you test to see if it is needed? I assume that all capacitors will eventually go (like old rubber)?
