    I bought the equivalent of the Samsung - LGPW350 42" Plasma HD Ready. I was amazed at the 2D to 3D conversation when watching Discovery HD. colours are sharper as well. you can download some samples of 3D movies at www.bohemmet.de , then u will see your 3d tv come alive.

    I just look at the PS3 vs BRP. I have the capability of a game console, BRP, media player all in one versus a Bluray Player. just my 2c.

    my setup for the above: optical from BRP(my ps3) to AVR optical - hdmi from TV to BRP(my ps3) set AVR to auto to autoselect the feed via optical cable.

    Maybe rather invest in a Playstation 3 running firmware 3.65 . Plays any bluray, and gives you 3D capabilities as well.
