Speakers for an Exclamé 100 in a big room

I would keep it simple. Speak to oom schalk about adding a line out of your amp and get two decent subs. I could even get a good quality two way active crossover to keep lows out of your speakers. And send lows to the subs.

Thanks for the question. A couple of pointers 1. The 1200AS1 is the core module being used per channel. In stock form they sound harsh (typical ClassD) even in a dark sounding speaker like the Apogee Scintilla, a full range ribbon speaker). 2. Consequently several mods are needed to get to an...

The real value of SA Audio

Sigh!!!! Geco you certainly seem to be wanting to pick a fight where none exists. If you had read the previous post you would have seen all our reasoning for doing things the way we did. We did not set out to offend anyone and if we offended you we apologise.

The 10.2's will work in rooms from around 30 square metres.room dimensions are obviously important so before selling a pair we would ask for a site visit. If the won't work in the room we won't just sell them. I believe that all Sonor Dealers have the necessary skill to offer good as I've and we...

The real value of SA Audio

On what is the above statement based? We knew and had interacted with all exhibitors before the show. As stated in another thread, we had to be careful about how we went about organising the show. Nothing like this has been done during a pandemic. As also stated before, we were contacted by a...

Some info on the Magellan Fortissimo amp as requested. Ryan has put extensive work in modifying both the input and output stages, with an eye on reducing or eliminating RFI/ EMI. Be has Own spent a lot of time optimising the switch mode power supply. The amp is fully analogue from input to...

When organising an event in trying times certain compromises have to be made. One was to limit the number of exhibitors to those brands with which we had an existing relationship. We have known and dealt with almost all the brands at the show for quite some time. Space limitations precluded the...

Carnival  Conferecing initially told us we were allowed 75 people per session. We decided to err on the side of caution and set the number at 50. Once again with the reduced numbers we would rather go lower and know that we are safe. Safety is our number one concern.

Yes only SA gear at the show Lots of reasons for this. The main one was that we wanted to promote our Industry and show what we  can do. Another is that due to  covid we had to keep the event reasonably small and keep attendance down a bit.

The real value of SA Audio

Most of the long standing local manufacturers here have most of that sorted out already  :dop: but a few need to sharpen up a bit.. I'm sure this thread will get some positive results. I most probably sound very critical of local stuff, but I can happily say I've owned 7 local items and want to...
