Currently have it on 4K 23.976 however I’ve tried all settings and yields the same results

Hi all quick random question … I’ve tried using the 4K “enhanced” setting on the Denon and the Shield won’t output a signal whatsoever… reverting back to standard mode and all works well… any idea why that is?

Yes using the plex server. Currently have the Shield connected to the LG Oled C1 with the eArc out to a Denon AVR-X4500H. Gonna try connecting the Shield directly to the AV receiver but I doubt it would make a difference?!

UPDATE: So took the plunge and got the Shield TV Pro. Dolby Atmos/Vision works like a dream however DTS:X/DTS-HD Master content does not play at all. Get an error message of the file cannot be played. Tried tinkering with some setting to no avail. Anybody else run into this problem too?

Yeah saw that on a video where it was mentioned as an alternative to zappito seeing that the company had closed down… 25k locally if I’m not mistaken

Hi all as mentioned above what media player is able to pass through Dolby Atmos/DTS:X along with Dolby Vision? Nvidia Shield TV Pro outdated... Zappiti redundant... Any other suggestions?

o The U7N should also pass through DTS:X/IMAX Enhanced, however Disney+ is the only streaming service that does it and it’s not yet active in SA

Yeah gonna take my Apple TV and 4K Blu-ray player and test out some of my favourite scenes… filmmaker mode etc.
