If you have the same brand speaker and compare the different speakers configurations, is the main difference between 2 Way vs 2.5 way vs 3 Way just volume or will midbass/bass also improve ?
Volume levels (more woofers higher volume) = 3way > 2.5way > 2 way
Clarity = 3way = 2.5way = 2 way
Midbass = 3way > 2.5way > 2 way
Bass = 3way > 2.5way > 2 way
I would think 3 way will improve midbass and bass over 2 way because , separate drivers doing individual duty , not just 1 driver doing both mid/bass
