colonel66 said:It appears that ones taste for pizza is reflective of ones taste for hi fi or vice versa??
So i will take a stab:
Byrd - only rolls his own and of course it tastes better
dkroniei bet has some local hi fi product lurking in his system like VA perhaps?
Frikkie - will be a Nad or Marantz man, eschewing the high end pizza in favour of well priced pizza
Atjan - is flirting with the high end by moving onto Cal Couchio (you are on the right track)
Bullet - prefers valves (ie woodfired) over solid state
Then a further stab:
Audiomuze - has tried every pizza, has blogged about it, and has the apron to prove it
HiPhibian - is happy to offer his vast experience of all pizza (having spent a lifetime sampling them) but has a slight preference for the pizza he has a financial interest in
Ampdog - reckons that a pizza cant be made better with better ingredients with the caveat that the recipe is good in the first place. Paying more than R25 for a pizza is heresay
My own view:
No pizza parlour is worth considering unless it has fior di latte mozzarella as an option (this should not even be a choice but standard) on the menu. A thin base is a must as well
