Amazing product for the price..
You just insert it at the and of a USB cable , no drivers etc , and it does SPDIF out , you can go SPDIF in and usb out (for digital recording etc) , uses the USB bus for power .. but can accept external, It lists as a sound card on your puter....
I compared it to my Behringer FCAi616 digital interface which also allows the same thing and it sounded a LOT better
Doesnt come in an enclosure tho , but for the money , it cant be beat.... not sure if there is anything else out there at this price , most of the USB to SPDIF stuff I have seen is much higher priced...
Here's a pic , mine came with RCA connectors soldered on the SPDIF side of things , little blue light comes on when its active.
