Went to the movies yesterday and watched a 3D movie - was awesome. 8) Now I'm convinced I need a proper 3D setup to watch movies at home.
I am not convinced that a 3D TV will be able to deliver the same awesome experience (my kid was jumping up and down trying to catch the balloons and stuff flying past her face) in a largish room (my room size 6m x 4.5m).

Does anybody have a 3D Projector setup and how close does it come to the movies ?
Any recommendations (need to get a basis for what ballpark is before approaching the wife) ?
