Hi everyone. it's been a while since I have posted so I hope everyone is well and not feeling the economic pinch too badly :'(
Some of you may remember that I recently purchased a second set of RTi8's and I have moved them to the rear positions instead of the RTi4's.
The front 8's are bi-amped through my Onkyo 705 receiver.
If I removed the bi-amp option from the front 8's and then reconnected my 4's in the surround rear position, would I further compromise the sound quality because I am now running 7 speakers instead of 5 or would it sound better?
Not sure if I am imagining things but since I bi-amped the front 8's, the new pair of rear 8's don't sound as good as the front 8's did before bi-amping which I cannot understand as I understand the 705 to split the available power equally to the various channels.
Anyone care to suggest or comment?
Cheers
Daniel
