Hi, I bought a capacitor tester to check all my caps on equipment. The Atlas had great reviews and easy to use. I have tested one of my amps caps out of circuit. The caps are 30 years old and were made by Sprague Powerlytic who were bought by Vishay
The all came up with values of +- 7400uf when actually 6600uf caps. The ESR was between 0.06 and 0.03
Can caps drift over time? I know the ESR is not great and should be around 0.02
Thank you
Sean
