I read in one of my 1982 HiFi Review mags that tests were done by using 300ohm FM cable opposed to co-ax for intelinking pre/power amps. The surprise was that it sounded great and there was no hum and it's cheap.
If this works for analogue, would this work for digital signals as well, say from dvd to amp?
Worth trying, I think. Getting good RCA connectors and do proper soldering is obvioulsy inportant.
