I was thinking :thinking: If I get a 9.2 av amp, and I bi-amp my front speakers, I'll go back to a 7.2 configuration, that I understand. But now for me to go back to 9.2, I'll need a external amp, that I have (I want a 9.2 setup). Now for the problem/lack of knowledge. I have to use a external amp for my Bose 901 speakers, due to the eq that must be used, I would use for my Bose 901's for rear surround.
My question now is: will I be able to use the receiver internal amps for my remaining speakers? Fronts, center, front effect and rear effect speakers. And rear surround pre out?
It seems like in most receivers, the external amp(pre out's) is for rear/front effect speakers or zone 2/3 only, if I want to use ALL internal amps.
