I refer to recent posts here about megabuck spikkas. R20K and R40K were mentioned. Hopefully not stepping on sensitive toes here but to me at least, this sounds like a heck of a lot of readies to fork out for some cabinetry, hopefully some cast baskets, some crossover components and kevlar or paper.
What kind of equipment at what megabuck cost would be needed to energise a couple of pairs of copper coils to move some hot air? To me at least, THE SOURCE of sound has always been more important. Or do I have it all wrong ???
