A piece of gear that cost next to nothing but floored you with its ability?

I would love to see what you guys come up with....i just got back an item that i sorely missed for a year or so and would like to nominate it as a belter of a product...The Micromega Duo BS was purchased for under a grand and so was the the Marantz 1060....the BS is back home and is a bitstream unit in a beautiful minute alloy chassis...it has opt/coax output is pretty basic and supposedly has no less than 10 regulated power supplies inside(whatever that means!)Its a mid 90's French unit that is detailed but warm with surprisingly good bass...anyone ever owned one?impressions?I am a valve nut but the best solidstater i've heard in my system was a mint 1060 that left me speechless it made the 3020 sound like a poor second rate product...i still suffer withdrawal symptoms since she left my lounge...anyone want to sell me one please...stunning preamp stage and 30 odd watts of bliss she puts out...now its your turn......
