I have spoken to Wolfgang Meyer, a lecturer in Audio Technology at Damelin College, and he is willing to join a few interested audio enthusiasts on a Saturday morning.
The idea is to start with an empty-ish room (you laugh, me empty out the man-cave) and add treatment options while explaining the theory of small room acoustics. I'll have corner bass traps, some wide-band panels, 2.5 m^2 of rear-wall diffusion and will try and get some more treatment to play around with. Measurement setup is at hand.
May I suggest the morning of 15 Feb through to lunch time? For those wanting to stay after, I am sure the CNC router could be put into action for the afternoon making first reflection treatment panels.
Can I have a show of hands who would make it to Pretoria on the 15th?
